Steve Ferrante – CEO & Trainer of Champions

An avid auto enthusiast with a lifelong passion for American muscle cars and high-performance vehicles, Steve literally grew up in and around his family’s auto service business in Massachusetts.
Today, he serves as the CEO (a.k.a. Grand PooBah) and Trainer of Champions at Sale Away LLC.
A true student of his profession, Steve brings over 30 years of successful experience in sales, sales management, and sales training. With a proven track record of creating and implementing strategic sales and customer experience programs, he’s regarded as an expert in developing, motivating, and leading top-tier sales and service teams from the ground up.
Steve’s professional sales career began in the early 1990s, where he excelled in sales and sales management roles in the promotional marketing and mortgage industries.
From 1994 to 2005, he worked with American Management Services, a management consulting firm specializing in strategic management and profit-improvement implementation for small and mid-sized businesses throughout the Eastern United States.
As an outside consulting sales professional, Steve was responsible for securing new clients for the firm. Recognized for his consistent results, he was promoted to Northeast Sales Director at just 28 years old, becoming the youngest person in the company’s history to hold that position.
Over the course of more than 3,000 face-to-face engagements with business owners and senior executives of companies ranging from $3 million to $300 million in revenue, Steve developed a deep understanding of leadership, organizational behavior, and the human side of business success.
Epitomizing leadership for the sales organization, Steve maintained the highest sales conversion rate in the organization and finished his tenure with the highest total revenue in the company’s history. Known for his skill as a teacher and motivator, he was frequently tapped to train and mentor new sales consultants and to help develop improved training tools and process enhancements.

Steve joined Sale Away LLC in October 2005 as Managing Partner and assumed the role of CEO in April 2006. The company initially provided sales training and consulting services for the software and printing industries before Steve returned to his roots in 2009 to specialize in the tire and automotive service industry – where his passion and expertise aligned perfectly.
As the producer and facilitator of the Pinnacle Performance Training program, Steve has earned national recognition for teaching independent tire and auto service businesses how to elevate customer experiences, strengthen sales performance, create winning team cultures, and rise to Top Shop status in their markets.
