A Tribute to the People Who Keep Us Moving
I grew up the son of a mechanic, spending much of my childhood in and around my dad’s auto service business in Massachusetts.
My dad had the battle scars of a seasoned mechanic. Busted knuckles, cuts and scrapes, and the grease and grime embedded in his hands that never seemed to completely wash away.
As a kid, I probably didn’t fully appreciate what those hands represented. They belonged to someone who solved problems for a living. Someone people depended on when their car wouldn’t start, when something broke, or when they simply needed to know their vehicle was safe.

After spending much of my own career working with many of the best tire and automotive service businesses across North America, I’ve come to appreciate that there are countless men and women just like my dad working in service bays across the country every day.
This sign is my tribute to him and to every mechanic and technician who has earned those same battle scars.
They do far more than repair vehicles. They keep people working and families safe. They save vacations, rescue bad days and help keep the world moving.
And whether people say it often enough or not, they deserve to know how much they are appreciated.
